The Canadian and US markets continue to channel mostly sideways. As President Trump takes office in the US. and Prime Minister Trudeau is into his second year, more than ever it’s important to track which industry groups are likely to prosper from new government direction and which ones might begin to falter. Already we’re seeing strength in Petroleum, Mining, Steel, Transportation and Banks.
One way in VectorVest to find the best stocks in these Sectors and Industry Groups while tracking Industry Rotation and health of the overall market, is to run a regular report on all the Buy-Rated stocks.
In this week’s video I show you how you can drill down to find the top stocks in the best performing industries. Once you get into a regular weekend routine, it will take just 10 to 20 minutes of your time.

As I note in the video, Senior Instructor Glenn Tompkins, of Training Tuesday fame, will be stepping in and presenting this week’s CA SOTW Q&A Tuesday, Jan. 24 at 12:30 Eastern. I will be in Kelowna, BC where I have the privilege of presenting for the first time our all-new VectorVest Better Investing Workshop. Here is the link to Tuesday’s webinar: http://news.vectorvest.com/CA_SpecialPresentation_QA_012417_registrationR.html
After presenting the workshop in Kelowna, BC Tuesday, Nanaimo, BC Thursday and Victoria, BC Friday, I will head on down to Phoenix where Steve Chappell and Glenn will be presenting the new Bottom Fishing for Explosive Profits workshop Feb. 3 and 4. I love Bottom Fishing, so I just did not want to miss this one even after a busy week on the road! So no video next weekend, but hope to get back on tract the week following.
I hope to see many of you at our Workshops this week in BC and in Phoenix. I understand we still have spaces available if you think you might like to attend. Just call 1-800-231-0110 to register and bring a guest for free.
Wishing you all a good week, and Safe Investing.
