How I take emotion out of my trading. In my February 6 presentation to the International Online Forum, I showed stocks in my long-term holds and what I’m looking at adding.

Amazon and Apple announced earnings this week. Both reported back-to-back blowout quarters. Apple raised its dividend and is buying back $90 Billion in stock.

Apple products are currently in a super cycle of buying, yet even though Amazon shows a big buying volume spike, the stock prices didn’t sore as you would think. For me, I don’t care. VectorVest always says Earnings drive the ship. Everything I see in the stocks I own tells me I have nothing to worry about at this point in time.

Just like in my business, until the story changes ie health or some other serious issues, things continue to look really good including my long-term holds.

Now for the markets. Every country is signaling caution: Because we live in a time none of us has ever experienced, let us be extra cautious and smart.

Nothing more than my 2 cents and I hope it’s of value and interest
