Investors attending today’s International Online Forum learned a few new terrific tips and techniques for using the 3 and 8-EMA crossover trading method. Petra Hess, our Burlington, Ontario User Group Leader is the one who introduced and popularized the 3/8-EMA crossover method to our VectorVest Investing Community. Today she explained and showed us three new, valuable techniques she is using to boost her own results in trading the 3 and 8 crossovers:
- How to be patient and let the 3/8-EMA crossovers guide you after price breaks above resistance.
- How to use common trading patterns to find better entries on the 3 and 8 crossovers.
- How to use Bollinger Bands expansion with 3 and 8 crossovers to avoid whipsaws and get a brighter ‘green light’ to buy.

Trade Analysis Calculator. Jamin Heller has updated his Trade Analysis Calculator spreadsheet for our VectorVest Community. It helps investors easily and quickly do some ‘What If?’ analysis and determine the Reward to Risk of various trade set-ups.
